![]() ![]() With smaller armies, you can rotate them into the fighting and out again to replenish/rest, and keep up the momentum of an attack, while with a single larger army you are stuck to the whim of the AI. ![]() Larger armies vs several smaller armies is problematic in terms of the tendency for campaigns to bog down into trench type warfare, or simply slow down due to the AI 'division dumping' on you (simply pouring in extra units regardless of need, supply, attrition, etc).
